Frequently Asked Questions

Scheduling

How can I make an appointment?

Request an appointment here on our website or give us a call at 805.757.7455

How long will my appointment last?

Unless our team advises otherwise, Wellness and Sick Care appointments are scheduled for one hour.

Will my appointment time be precise?

While we always strive to maintain an accurate and reliable schedule, there are sometimes unforeseeable circumstances that arise from the nature of our work as a full service mobile veterinary clinic.

When requesting a visit, it is best to plan for a variation of up to 15 minutes before or after the target appointment time. We will contact you if we expect our arrival will be early or late; so please be sure you include a convenient number when making your appointment.

Our best effort will always be made to arrive at our scheduled appointment time, and in the event of an emergency or complication we will contact you as soon as possible to discuss the schedule adjustment. Caring for pets in their homes is sometimes unpredictable and may result in slight, infrequent schedule adjustments. Thank you for understanding!

Can I choose a location that is not my home for the appointment?

Unfortunately we are not able to accomodate appointments that are not at the patient's home address on file. Appointment times may vary and meeting at an offsite location can not be easily coordinated around our schedule. This is also to ensure that the animals in our care are not from outside of our service area, in the event ongoing services are needed for proper treatment.

What is your Cancellation/No Show Policy?

Because our schedule is designed to provide the utmost convenience for our patients and their families, adherence to the scheduled appointment time is critical to our success.

There is no fee for appointments cancelled before 24 hours prior to the scheduled time. In the event of a last minute appointment cancellation (within 24 hours of the scheduled time), the Appointment Cancellation Fee - equal to the Home Visit Fee - will be applied to your account and added to the invoice for your next appointment.

If you are not at the specified appointment location at the appointment time, the No Show Fee - equal to the Home Visit Fee - will be charged to the payment information we have on file, or will be invoiced and emailed to you directly.
