At All Creatures Great and Small, Inc., our mission is to provide personalized Whole-Patient Care for our community’s pets, both great and small. Our dedicated and caring team of professionals offers a vast array of experience and expertise.

Our mobile veterinary clinic is unique in our variety of in-house services. In addition to standard wellness and sick care for your animals, we also offer in-house diagnostic services to get your family the answers you need to make informed care decisions. Our full suite of services include wellness and sick care, dental services, diagnostic testing, surgery and euthanasia.
Beyond scheduled services, we are available to our current patients for after hours at-home emergency services; providing care for a wide range of critical conditions and initiating immediate care and medical transport to a nearby veterinary hospital if more intensive care is needed.

Our Team
All Creatures Great and Small, Inc. was founded by Dr. Stephanie Klein in the spring of 2021. Through our comprehensive mobile veterinary service, Dr. Klein and her team are excited to serve the Santa Ynez Valley with a personalized approach to veterinary care for all animals, great and small.
Dr. Stephanie Klein, DVM
Dr. Stephanie Klein was born in Santa Maria, California; and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA. As an animal lover and enthusiast herself, Dr. Klein lives in Santa Ynez with her partner Mathew Spencer and her 4 orange tabbies Henry, Harrison, Hobbes, and Hamilton.
Dr. Klein graduated as a mixed animal veterinarian, and prior to starting All Creatures Great and Small, Inc. had been practicing medicine in the Santa Ynez Valley for 4 years where she was Medical Director of a mobile veterinary practice. Through this role, Dr. Klein gained experience with a wide range of animals, both great and small; which helped build the foundation she continues to expand upon today through ACGS.
With 27 years of pre-clinical and clinical experience in the field of veterinary medicine she is excited to continue to offer her expertise to the Valley.
Crystal, Veterinary Technician
Crystal was born and raised in the Emerald City - Seattle, Washington. After cultivating a love for animals by watching Jack Hannah on Saturday mornings, she entered animal care to become Operations Manager at the Teton Valley Community Animal Shelter in south-eastern Idaho where she spent five rewarding years before relocating to the Santa Ynez Valley and joining All Creatures Great and Small in October, 2023.
During her time at the animal shelter, Crystal became intimately familiar with the diverse animals in her care and their unique medical and other care needs. With no homes to go to and no families to care for them, Crystal found herself acting as both nurse and caregiver, loving each and every shelter animal as her own - even adopting a few so they could have a forever home.
Crystal’s animal companions include Sydney, a 16 year old cattle dog who came from the back of a pick up truck in Idaho; Omar, an eight year old kitty who had been abandoned as a youngster and wouldn’t let anyone touch him for the first few months (but now sleeps on Crystal every chance he gets); and the amazing, once-in-a-lifetime dog Birdie, a 10 year old beagle-chihuahua mix (lovingly called a chi-weagle).
Desiree, Veterinary Technician
Clients who have been with Dr. Klein since first introducing All Creatures Great and Small in 2021 will be no stranger to Desiree, our beloved part time veterinary technician. Desiree has worked side by side with Dr. Klein for 7 years, serving the animals and people of the Santa Ynez Valley.
We are grateful that she continues to support our patients as she prepares to shift into her primary field of interest: environmental studies.

Beauty
Beauty, our mobile veterinary clinic, is fully equipped for a unique variety of in-house services.
In addition to housing everything our team needs to provide wellness and sick care for your animals; Beauty allows us to offer in-house diagnostic services including bloodwork, x-rays, and ultrasound; as well as provides a state-of-the-art surgical suite - that we can park right outside your home!
Brown Truck
Lovingly referred to as Brown Truck, you’ll often find one of our amazing veterinary technicians bringing this fully equipped veterinary care vehicle around for wellness care services and pharmacy deliveries.
Brown Truck is equipped with a state-of-the-art veterinary kit that allows our team to provide a range of services for existing patients including: vaccinations, microchipping, deworming, diagnostic preventative care, nail and hoof trims, ear cleaning, and gland expressions.
