Beyond scheduled services, we are available to our current patients for after hours at-home emergency services; providing care for a wide range of critical conditions and initiating immediate care and medical transport to a nearby veterinary hospital if more intensive care is needed.
All Creatures Great and Small, Inc. was founded by Dr. Stephanie Klein. As an animal lover and enthusiast herself, Dr. Klein's animal menagerie at home includes four orange tabbies (Henry, Harrison, Hobbes, and Hamilton), a tortoise (Simon), seven chickens and five fish.
Through All Creatures Great and Small, Dr. Klein is excited to serve her friends and family with a personalized approach to veterinary care.
Dr. Stephanie Klein, DVM
Dr. Stephanie Klein was born in Santa Maria, California; and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA.
She graduated as a mixed animal veterinarian, and prior to starting All Creatures Great & Small, Inc. had been practicing medicine in the Santa Ynez Valley for 4 years where she was Medical Director of a mobile veterinary practice. Through this role, Dr. Klein gained experience with a wide range of animals, both great and small; which helped build the foundation she continues to expand upon today through ACGS.
With 24 years of pre-clinical and clinical experience in the field of veterinary medicine she is excited to continue to offer her expertise to the Valley.
“ Dr Stephanie Klein is one in a million. She goes the extra mile. It’s clear that she cares very much so for both her patients and their owners. An example is when I started to have to give my dogs Adequan shots; Dr Klein took the time to show me how. She then made herself available via FaceTime when I panicked upon the next shot. She really does care. Her follow-ups are clear and thorough. A wealth of knowledge, just a phone call away; she always try’s to be available for her patients. I’m very thankful we found her. “
